Alyssa Barreda is an accomplished independent Mexican-American filmmaker and artist based in Arizona. With a passion for filmmaking; specializing in multiple departments of Film Production, including Screenwriting, Directing, Producing, Cinematography, Editing, Art Design, Costume Design, Hair and Makeup Design. Her love for filmmaking is evident in her academic accomplishments; having graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Film and Media Production with a concentration in Directing from the Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University. Prior to that, she earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Art from Pima Community College in 2019. Alyssa's dedication to her craft has led her to pursue further education, earning a certificate in the Film and TV Summer Institute program from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2018.
