Nita Blum has worked in film production since 2007 where she started her career as an editor for The History Channel. Over her career Nita has worked for Sundance Institute, National Geographic, AOL and Lifetime networks, as well as on countless independent film and documentary projects in various roles. Nita earned her BA in Film and Media Studies from Temple University. She currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona where she is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Production at the Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University. Nita also works with the Arizona Film Office as Film Resource Coordinator. Additionally, she produces and supports films statewide.
